Q: Is Andrea Martin the voice on the Enablex commercial?
A: So I'm sitting here eating my lunch in front of MSNBC when I hear the familiar voice of Andrea Martin during a pharmaceutical commercial. This is slightly troubling in itself, because Andrea Martin is one of the most talented and funny women in TV history. She should have her own comedy show, not voice work in an ad for some bladder control drug. (For those too young to remember, Ms. Martin was one of the stars of SCTV, the funniest television show ever. I have one friend who, to this day, busts up at the mere mention of "Mrs. Falbo.")
Most disturbing, though, is what I'm seeing on the screen as I sip my Diet Mountain Dew. It's a reunion for the Class of '68, and all of the attendees are dancing pseudo-bladders. They are balloons filled with a thankfully unspecified liquid, bouncing and sloshing confidently around under the mirror ball.
I would really love to have seen how the ad agency presented this idea in meetings.

Q: Can any of the follow drugs cause a false positive for opiates, simvastatin, prevacid, enablex, advair, nasonaex?
A: no. none of those can.
Q: Enablex and overactive bladder?
yeah, my doc prescribed Emblex to me for overactive bladder; will i be able to function with out it if i decide to stop taking it.??
A: I guess it depends on what you mean by "function". Just a guess that you went to see your doctor due to a symptom. the medication will help that.
Q: Does anyone have interstitial cystitis and how long was it before you were diagnosed? Did the doctors treat?
you like you were a hypochondriac, until you found the right doctor? Were you put on bladder medications such as enablex and it helped?
A: It took a long time before the Dx came. I had to have a cysto/ done to complete the Dx. there is a lot involved with this disease and most uro's and doctors do not know how to treat it. I have the interstim implant and take medications, I am also having a bladder sling placed this week. It is important to find a doctor who specializes in this field. I had it probably over 5 years before i was Dx with it. Elmiron is the most common medication. email me private and I will discuss anything you want to know about this condition and there is the ICN network, you can join, it is all about IC. I am a member, each state has it's own support group, and then the national one. Diet has to be changed, and what you are allowed to drink, it is all posted on the ICN boards, it will help you a lot. Did they explain in layman terms to you what this is? and how it effects the bladder? I'd be happy and so would all the members to assist you. Good luck, and please educate yourself, it is the best defense against IC you can ever have! Tash
Q: How do certain drugs, like those used for bladder control, target specific muscles?
I saw an Enablex commercial and wondered.
A: a link to some causes of bladder weakness and explanations of how the medicine works
for example, in the below link it says some bladder problems are believed to be caused by lack of hormone. so medicine replacing that hormone strengthens the bladder muscles and fixes the problem.
there are of course more than one reason for weak blader control. I suspect fixing it for the other reasons is simular.

Understanding Bladder Control Medications
http://www.emedicinehealth.com/understanding_bladder_control_medications/page2_em.htm
Q: I've had sort of a painless cystitus for two months, no pain.?
But urinary frequency is very troubling. Tried Detrol and Enablex, didn't help. Did anyone else have this problem?
The urologist said I had had a minor bladder infection which had cleared up, but left the bladder irritated.
A: Have you been diagnosed with cystitis? There are many other causes for urinary frequency besides cystitis. If you haven't already, check with your doctor to be sure you aren't becoming diabetic, developing interstitial cystitis, or have any other factor causing your frequency.
You didn't say how old you are, but sometimes frequency can be related to menopause.
Q: I have had a terrible taste in my mouth for several months (not from bad breath). What could be causing this?
I also seem to have a dry mouth. I try to drink lots of water and chew gum constantly to get rid of the bad taste. I have noticed that some foods have a strange taste. I brush my teeth several times a dayand use mouth wash but still have the bad taste with in minutes after using them. The past few days I feel like my tounge is swollen. It even looks sort of white. I have been taking a medication called Enablex for some bladder problems and thought that might be the cause. I stopped taking it for a couple of weeks but saw no change. It drives me crazy and I want to know what causes it and how to get get rid o f the awful taste.
A: You must mention this to your doctor. It may very well be the medication. You may not have been off of it long enough to see a difference. Tell your doc and let him make the call. there maybe an alternative med that will be as effective and that will eleviate the problem.
Q: DRUGS COVERED FOR ID NUMBER MEBDGHB?
I RECIEVED A LETTER SAYING THEY DID NOT COVER ENABLEX OR CELEBREX ALSO THEY SAID THEY DID NOT COVER BENICAR. I WOULD LIKE A LIST OF THE DRUGS THEY DO COVER.
A: Call the number on the back of your card. Everyone's plan is different, even within the same company. You must contact your insurance plan yourself.
Q: Peeing Issue?
The past few months, I have been peeing ALOT! But have no burning, stinging, or any of the UTI or bladder infection symptoms except that I pee alot.
I am 13, Is that too young to have overactive bladder?
And Enablex which treats that, says its for adults. Im 13, is that too young.
(please answer all the questions)
thanks!!!!!!!!!
IM NOT SEXUALLY ACTIVE, I DONT HAVE DIABETES, AND I DONT DRINK ALCOHOL! IM 13 years old, I would never
A: Have you been drinking a lot of water recently? Or have you started drinking alcohol?
Q: Looking for Coupon Checks?
I am looking on the Internet for check coupons that list a dollar amount for the following products:
Advair - $10
Avandia - $10
Zelnorm - $10
Elidel - $10
Enablex - $10
Imitrex - $10
Vesicare - $25
Lamisil - $30
Ortho Evra - $5(not internet printed)
Wellbutrin - $10
Good Start - Any Dollar Value
Enfamil - Any Dollar Value
Lamictal - $10
Requip - $20
Timber Wolf(hard to find)
If anyone can get these for me that would be awesome . . . I need the ones where the dollar amount is listed on the check. I can't use the ones where it says good for 1 refill. I am willing to pay 10% of dollar value & S&H (via paypal). I need as many as I can get....my family is on a tight budget and we use these.
If anyone knows where I can get these please let me know... :)
A: If your family is on a tight budget then why are you going for name-brand medications?
You can get generics for at least 3/4 of these (possibly more, don't know all of them off the top of my head) and save more than these coupon amounts.
You may want to take a trip to your local Wal-Mart or Target pharmacy and check out the prices of the generic versions there.
Q: What can I do about this situation?
First of all, there is a computer network at my job. The computer I was using was switched. When I logged in today I discovered that I could not sign into Hotmail nor Yahoo.I got into hotmail and dicovered I could not check my mail. Somehow,a website came up in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen near start that I found objectionable.I tried to close it but it did not respond.I shut down and started up again. This time I found a different site at the bottom before I signed in to Hotmail or yahoo. Apparently someone else was on the network. In Hotmail, I found an email sent by someone but not intended for me.I know the person who sent it and the one at the address where it was sent; but it ended up in my mailbox. My question is if this happened to me, what are the chances that my emails might be misdirected and end up in someone who knows me mailbox. The computer that I used to used was switched and I got one that I suspect has a virus. When I looked at the history, a listed website there was revealing in the sense that I would never go there.of course I cleaned the history, went to internet options, cleaned/removed the cookies and temporary internet files and raised the security level.yet, something is still wrong. When i turned the computer on after lunch I got a beep beep annoying sound. That I got on again is a miracle. What advice can you offer? I know it has to be scanned for viruses, worms etc but Wwindows will not scan without javascript. My reading of enablex or Active X leave me with questions. Please help.
A: My best advice to you, would be to tell you I.T. people about the problem. Let them do a virus check and all that jazz.
Q: Wondering if I may have diabetes?
I'm wondering if maybe I have diabetes. I'm about 40-50lbs overweight. I'm tired all the time. I feel like I have no energy. I go to the bathroom frequently. I actually got on medication(enablex) to treat that but it gave me dry mouth so bad that I had to stop. I get light headed easy, and don't really have much appetite. I eat a lot of candy, less now than I used too, but still a lot. I don't have a good diet, but lately I haven't been able to eat much at all. So do you know if all these symptoms add up to possibly having diabetes. I don't have medical insurance, so wasting money with false trips to the doctor is not an option for me. Oh and my hand goes numb all the time, my typing/writing hand.
Thank you
A: Tiredness can be brought on by poor diet and too much sugar. Change your eating habits to cut out anything with sugar in it. Eat only whole meal products such as bread, brown rice, pulses etc. Eat NO junk food and eat plenty of fruit and vegetable, especially green ones. A good diet will make you lose weight which as your excess weight will cause this tiredness. The poor diet with so much sugar could cause the continual trips to the toilet. Drink water and stay off caffeine in tea and coffee.
Finally walk fairly briskly at least 3 miles every day if you can but certainly no less than 3 times a week.
My weight was 250 pounds and now it is at 203pounds by doing all this.
I have diabetes and by doing all these things I am considered as more healthy than a lot of people that do not have diabetes. I take no tablets or have no injections.
Q: I am desperate and need losing weight help. I am currently on the Alli plan, I lost some weight, but my meds?
interfere with my weight loss. I eat healthy and I don't have treatments on the plan. I lost weight the first month but, last week I put all but 4 lbs back on. I take Cymbalta, Elavil, Eterdiol, Lisonpril, Neurontin, Enablex, Amirex, magnesium, Malic Acid and Multi-Vitamins.
I have limitations to exercising. I have neck, back, wrist and knew injuries.... along with Fibromalgia. I desperately need help... I am so frustrated I am crying and ashamed to get dressed because everything I own is too small now.
A: Girl, don't be taking that alli stuff...it's bad for you.Combined with your medications it can harm you.I would talk to your doctor but if nothing else, try easy water aerobics there are classes at local gym's and also at community centers that have specific classes for people with fibomalgia and other issues. Also, shake up your eating routine...don't just eat diet foods..do this.
eat veggies one day, lean chicken and then pick one day a week and eat a fatty normal meal like pizza, burger whatever you like.then back to the lean protin and veggies...it will shake up your system and kick start another week of diet.
Q: what is derifenacin called in india?

A: u better get some authority like a doctor or a pharmacist to tell u about that.
Q: Can a Urinary Tract Infection go undetected?
About three weeks ago I suddenly started getting up twice a night to use the bathroom. I would urgently have to rush to the bathroom. I also wet my bed during the night once. I went to my primary care physician who prescribed me an antibiotic even though my urine test came back fine. For ten days i was on the antibiotics which seemed to help however as soon as i got off the medication the nighttime and daytime frequency started up again. Since this occured my primary doctor sent me to a urologist, who performed a kidney CT Scan and other tests to check for abnormalities, which all came back fine. The urologist then went ahead and gave me enablex which is used to treat overactive bladder and thankfully that has stopped the symptoms. The reason i am so am so worried is because i feel that it is kind of odd for a 19 year old male to randomnly start having these symptoms. Is it possible that a UTI could go undetected in the urine tests,i have had three and all have came back fine?
A: You would be able to detect a UTI, so you probably don't have one. I would ask your doctor about Detrol LA for an overactive bladder.
