Q: I need to find an online college school for pharmacy!?
Does anybody know about a good online pharmacy school?
Many online colleges don't offer pharmacy but I found some online colleges offering pharmacy technician degrees.
The best one that I found so far is Penn Foster Career School.
Does anybody have any suggestion on where I can find a good online pharmacy degree. This would help alot. Thanks.
A: You can't get a pharmacy degree online. It's not a pharmacy degree either, its called PharmD "doctor of pharmacy" pretty much you are getting a doctors degree by going through pharmacy school which could take 4-5 years with 2-3 years of prerequisites. Penn foster career school is just for pharmacy technicians. I'm sure for pharmacy technician you could find SOME place that offers it online, but it is highly doubtful because most of the classes teach you how to do everything with hands on activities, like how to work in the pharmacy and some things can only be taught that way if you know what i mean. Take some time and look into schools near you that offer the technician program. good luck!

My meds are really expensive so I just bought them from an online pharmacy. When I got an email confirmation of my order I noticed that the pharmacy that the meds are being shipped from is in India. Have I made a big mistake?
A: I would have a pharmacist look at them to make sure their what they should be. If you don't have prescription insurance please go to www.pparx.org and they can help you get your meds for free or at low cost. Good luck.

i want to become a pharmacy tech which i know u dont actually have to have a degree for just get certified in it so i want to take the classes but i work and have a 5 year old with nobody at home to help me so i wanted to maybe try to take the classes online, im trying to better myself...so if anyone knows anything about online classes for pharmacy tech and which ones are good and decently priced let me know, thanks
A: You don't need to take formal classes to become a pharm tech. Most take the exam after they work for a few months. Taking courses will not increase your salary.
Q: What is a legit online pharmacy to order amoxicillian?
We all have strep throat and I don't have insurance. I would rather not pay for 5 people to get rapid strep tests plus paying for the prescription, I would rather just buy amoxicillian online. Has anyone used one of these places? Which are legit? Thanks.
A: Being a pharmacy technician for a hospital I would NEVER buy any kind of medication online. You never know what you are getting and you don't know where it's coming from. It could be expired, it could have been in unstable conditions (moisture, extreme heat), and it could fake.
Why don't you try calling your doctor and explain to them what's going on. They'll most likely want to see you anyway, but it's worth a try. Amoxicillin is fairly cheap, so if I were you I wouldn't really worry about that. The doctor visit will probably be the most expensive.
I know you're going to do what you want anyway but I thought you should know some of the dangers about online pharmacies.
Q: Has anyone bought oxycodone using on online pharmacy?
I was wondering if anyone has had a good experience purchasing perscription pain medication using an online pharmacy. I want to get 5-10 tablets of 30 mg oxycodone (NOT Oxycontin). This is for my wife's cervical cancer pain and I would want to get these every month or so. Thanks for any help you might be able to give.

A: half-price-pharmacy.net is ok, ask the live support if they ship to India. But I really would not recommend to start using any medicine on your own without professional medical attention. It may result in serious health problems or may be even death for some people..

you can save some money if you order meds online, just check the pharmacies very careful before you buy anything.
Here are some tips from my experience with online drugstores.
One thing I know for sure - do not buy anything from a pharmacy that sends spam emails, I know a few guys who been ripped that way, including myself. Also avoid pharmacies that have got well known SCAM products on their product lists (like penis/breast enlargement pills, viagra for women and other questionable "products") It is a very big chance that their prescription meds are also fake.
When you have found something that looks like a good and trusted pharmacy, check if the pharmacy has got a live support chat or a support phone number. If you have any doubts I suggest to contact the support staff before placing any orders, because if your shipping will be
delayed or if there will be any other problems, it is better you have already tested the quality of support they can provide. Also ask the support what are their shipping and refund policies.
http://www.half-price-pharmacy.net probably is one of the cheapest sites online. Have ordered a couple times, the meds work ok, just as the ones I can get at Wal Mart. It is from the UK and I feel much better ordering from a British pharmacy than a pharmacy from India or Mexico.
Of course If I were taking a life saving chemical (heart medication, as example) I would want the branded product from my local pharmacy. If it is not life saving get the generic and save 50% or more

Has anyone actually purchased from 4rx.com? They are based outside of the US. I have never bought from an online pharmacy before. With two kids and having been laid off from work due to the economy, I no longer have health insurance and can't afford cobra. I need a way to get cheaper meds. Thanks!
A: Sorry about your job and sorry I can not give you any first hand information about 4rx. I have looked at them but for the past few years I have been using the site The-Med-Store.com and they really are legit and have very low prices. hope this helps and good luck with finding a new job. Richard

A: No. There never was and still isn't. A phone consultation cannot take the place of a physician who knows your full medical history and has examined you.

A: From my experience going to school to be a pharmacy technician is a waste of time, my friend went to school to be one and spent thousands of dollars and now makes like 10 dollars an hour, I would just go to a pharmacy and work my way up the ranks and get the experience, then maybe later you can go to a university and get a degree as a pharmacist, but as far as I know you really don't have to have a degree for that job, just like dental or medical assistant, just go in and apply at different places, and work your way up.
